Markus K. Binder, previously Deputy Director of the Chemical and Biological Weapons Nonproliferation Program (CBWNP), is currently working as a Senior Consultant to CBWNP. Prior to joining CNS in February 2004, Mr. Binder spent 15 months working with the External Relations Division of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in The Hague. His current research interests include the proliferation potential of defensive CW programs, public intelligence representations of foreign CW programs, and questions of CW proliferation more generally.
