Lisa Donohoe, Project Manager, English Language and Nonproliferation (ELAN) Program

Lisa Donohoe is a Project Manager for the English Language and Nonproliferation (ELAN) Program, part of the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS) Education Program. Lisa joined CNS in the fall of 2002 as managing editor of the Nonproliferation Review, a position she held through 2006.

A 1977 graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, Graduate School of Education, she taught English, bilingual English, and ESL before beginning a career in academic, educational, and research publishing in 1985. She is a 2009 MA candidate in the Graduate School of Language and Educational Linguistics at MIIS and develops curricula on language and nonproliferation issues for the ELAN program, the Visiting Fellows program, and the Critical Issues Forum. She brings eight years of teaching experience and 20 years' experience in development of college- and graduate-level textbooks in pre-med and life science, research editing, and publications management, as well as educational assessment.
